Bute 1 Kyles Athletic 8

Manager Roddy Dunder MacColl took his team to Bute this weekend hoping to clinch the South division 2 championship.
Kyles fielded a strong team and it didnt take long for Uncle Dunder to show his boys the way, with the opening goal after only 10 minutes and although he managed another 20+ shots he was not to find the net again (more Ronald MacDonald than Ronald Ross).
Veteran striker Peter Mobeck was next to find the net, adding a brace on 15 and 49 mins. Three nil and Kyles were now cruising, further goals from Mink, Moose, Inky and Goose along with the completion of a fine hatrick by Mobeck who showed that being old, grey and blind is not a barrier to goalscoring wrapped up a fine win for Kyles. Bute did grab a consolation goal when they attacked en masse in an attempt to get on the scoresheet.
The boys finish off the season with a visit to Aberdour this weekend where they will be hoping to receive the division 2 trophy in recognition of their fine season.

CAMANACHD CUP, SEMI FINALCAMANACHD CUP, SEMI FINAL.
Kyles Athletic 2 Kingussie 6

Kyles will need to pick them selves up and dust themselves down to now concentrate on their remaining league games after being dumped out of the Scottish cup at Mossfield this afternoon.
With two goals inside 13 minutes, Ronald Ross got Kingusie of to a flyer from which Kyles never recovered.Colin MacColl pulled one back for Kyles after 23 minutes only for Thomas Bothwick to again give Kingussie a two goal cushion three minutes later.Roddy MacDonald again cut the deficit after sixty two minutes only for the prolific Ross to grab his hatrick after sixty seven to silence the Kyles supporters.
Further goals from Fraser Munro on 88 and a fourth for Ronald Ross on 89 maybe flattered Kingussie a little however kyles needed everyone playing well on the day to repeat the heroics of last years semi final but sadly it wasnt to be.

Kyles Athletic 2 Newtonmore 2

A hard fought game at the Playing Fields resulted in a 2-2 draw in this Premier League game.
Colin MacColl opened the scoring after 12 minutes, only for David Chayne to equalise with a fine volley after 25 minutes. Thomas Whyte restored the lead for Kyles with a well taken goal on 58 minutes. Newtonmore were awarded a controversial penalty after 77 minutes when goalkeeper Kenny Macdonald was adjudged to have kicked in his area, fortunately for Kyles David Chayne dragged his shot wide of Kennys left hand post.
